Color is variable and can change to some degree depending on temperature and other factors. Generally green to olive above, pale underside, often with tan fore and hind limbs.

"Doreen, what would need see to tell for sure are the ridges or lack of ridges along the side of the back. So, it could be either based on what is visible in the photo but its face is shaped like an American Bullfrog. Bullfrogs take a couple years to reach full size."
Doreen, I can see the ridges in these photos. So, that makes this one a Green Frog. Sorry.
The green frog (Lithobates clamitans) is a species of frog native to the eastern half of the United States and Canada. The two subspecies are the bronze frog and the northern green frog.
