Tillandsia fasciculata -- a large, showy bromeliad growing as an epiphyte in the mangroves. Common here.
This stuff is all over the park. Practically every live oak has some.
Tillandsia fasciculata is a species of the genus Tillandsia. This species is native to Costa Rica, Mexico, Venezuela and the United States.
