Ceratonia (pronounced /ˌsɛrəˈtoʊniə/) is genus of flowering trees in the pea family, Fabaceae, that is endemic to the Mediterranean region. It belongs to the subfamily Caesalpinioideae, tribe Caesalpinieae.
