Fishing using sein net at mid-tide with students, caught approx. 70 1" to 3" silversides. I.D.ed using Peterson's Atlantic Coast Fishes.
I like the color of the silverside.
We collected the fish species, topsmelt silverside, in the former salt pond. The biologists from UC. Davis threw out nets and brought them onto the shore.
This fish was sneering!
