I am a forester, associate professor, and researcher. I teach fire management and forest health at the College of Forestry, Agriculture, and Natural Resources-University of Arkansas at Monticello. My students and I, at the forest health laboratory, conduct research projects aimed at understanding invasive species and their ecological and economic impacts on forest systems of the southern U.S.
