I am the cultural preservation officer with a Northern California native tribe. The Tsi-Akim Maidu. I specialize in material culture items and their construction using native plants animals and minerals. I spend a lot of time out of doors with archaeologists on pedestrian surveys locating Native American cultural sites for preservation. Matching cultural sites to their environment plants animals and other resources is my continuing study.
