Hi my name is Kris, and like many of you out there, I have had an interest in nature since I could remember. I am 26 years old, live in Toms River, NJ and work in the Pine Barrens. B.A. degree in Environmental Science at Stockton, working at the Phillip E. Marucci Center for Blueberry and Cranberry Research and Extension in Chatsworth, NJ (Rutgers).
I was born near the Pocono Mts. in Pennsylvania and lived there exploring the wild until I was 6, then I spent the next 5 years in Phoenix, AZ, where my appreciation for biodiversity grew. Around 12 years old my family moved to the Jersey Shore, so I have a wide interest and knowledge in nature.
