I am a licensed ham radio operator.

Red trilliums are my favorite plant, and I like trilliums in general.

Other favorite taxa include spring ephemerals that are native to Maine, especially Carolina spring beauty, wild leek, and bloodroot; carnivorous plants, especially Nepenthes pitcher plants, and Maine endemics, especially Orono sedge.
