I've now added some observation fields. They're not required fields, but if you're able to fill them out in your spare time that would be awesome. Here's the list:

"Canopy Cover"

• Choose the percent cover directly above the plant. Cover can be artificial as well.
• Allowed values: 0|1–25|25–50|50–75|75–100

"First direct light" and "Last direct light"

• The earliest and latest times on the observation date that the sun directly lit the point of observation.
• Allowed values: 0000|0030|0100|0130|0200|0230|0300|0330|0400|0430|0500|0530|0600|0630|0700|0730|0800|0830|0900|0930|1000|1030|1100|1130|1200|1230|1300|1330|1400|1430|1500|1530|1600|1630|1700|1730|1800|1830|1900|1930|2000|2030|2100|2130|2200|2230|2300|2330

"Perching on"

• name of species main observation is standing on, perching on, near, etc,
• enter species name

"Perch Type Dropdown"

• Perch types not included in the "Perching on" observation field (basically, not plants), especially in urban environments.
• Allowed values: Rock|Utility Pole|Utility Wire|Feeder|Water (Natural)|Water (Fountain)|Fence|Wall|Building|Sign|Ground (Bare)|Ground (Pavement)|Ground (Grass)|Vehicle|Furniture|Other

"Plant section"

• To describe which part of a plant an animal is perching on.
• Allowed values: twig|flower spike|leaf|frond|trunk

"Perch grip"

• How is the animal holding its perch.
• Allowed values: Mouth|Limbs

"Clump size mode"

• Most common number of individuals in a clump, where "clumped" individuals are tightly clustered in blobs and touching each other.
• Allowed values: 1-not clumped|2-5|6-10|11-20|21-30|31-40|41-50|51-60|61-70|>70

"Clump Number approximate"

• Approximate number of clumps.
• Allowed values: 1-5|6-10|11-15|16-20|21-25|>25

"Count of individuals Observed"

• Total number of individuals observed or estimated.
