Welcome to the Belize Roadkill Project. This is Emma, Research Fellow from the University of Belize Environmental Research Institute (UB-ERI). First of all, I am grateful that you found yourself here. I together with colleagues from UB-ERI will be coordinating this project and keeping you updated on our progress of the project. We hope that you as Belizeans and visitors of the jewel become part of this huge effort, bringing together technology, local support, and science to create awareness on the issue of roadkill, road safety, and wildlife road crossings.
If you have decided to be part of this project, please ensure that you are safe on the roads while collecting your photos. Your safety is very important to us! Secondly, keep up with the updates and interact with the coordinators to learn more about wildlife in Belize.
