The hope is that this project will encourage you to explore the incredible diversity of life on Brush Mountain, part of a large and high conservation priority intact mix of oak and hickory woodlands for the region. Any observations of plants and animals, including non-native invasive species, that you add to iNaturalist will be available for scientific study and support the conservation efforts of this area. These data can help us to track changes in the distribution and relative abundance of species over time, as well as phenology (timing of biological events), as well as help with the long-term management of forested lands across Pennsylvania and beyond. less ↑
