In 2017 a crowd-sourced study was done to determine how many bird deaths from window collisions occur on campus. There were 74 reports collected and the Student Sustainability Committee agreed to fund an official study.
The 2018 study will start before spring migration and run through fall migration. Remedies will be recommended and the worst locations will see the first changes. A followup study in 2019 will determine if the mitigation put into place are working. less ↑
