The Namibian Ecosystems Project has been created to collect information about our various ecosystems in the country - from the Kunene Mouth to the Impalila Island, from the Cuvelai savanna / oshana mosaic to the Fish River Canyon.
Next to species observations (any species - does not matter whether green or brown, well-rooted or fast-running / flying), we would like your opinion on the state of the ecosystem, whether natural, semi-natural, disturbed or even destroyed. We need this information to describe the state of our various ecosystems.
And as this project concerns ecosystems, a picture of the habitat of each observation would be nice as well!
As the project progresses, we will create checklists for each ecosystem and make these available to our contributors.
