This project aims to document the eel fauna of the Philippines. There is a need to assess the diversity of Anguilliform eels of the country, which is known as the 'Center of the Center of Marine Biodiversity' yet also dubbed as the 'Center of Adversity'. Contribution as to what species occur of eels in this part of the world is of high importance.
