This is our first sighting of the year, although a neighbor heard one on Monday. The size looks like a male, and the males normally arrive first. But there seem to be some brown breast feathers, indicating a female??

Our two Osprey nest poles lost all their nesting material this winter, so the male has some serious work to do.
