While hiking at Palm Canyon Nature Trail at Borrego Springs, California, a lamb, a collared and ear-tagged ewe, and a ram began dropping down from the canyon side onto the trail we were hiking on. Stayed still and started taking photos of the 3 sheep. I never expected to see the ram with the ewe and lamb, at this time of year.
