First county record! 3rd state record. Spotted on the piles. Large-ish pale gull with a bit of clean gray on the back. Dark iris, long dark bill with some pale coloration at base. Wings had no dark color and wingtips were more gray than white.

compost pile mystery gull, appearing as a lesser black-backed gull with pink legs. This is inconsistent with typical LBBG found in this region and this bird might be a hybrid or uncommon subspecies.

In comparing my eBird and iNat bird life lists from Florida today, I was surprised to see that I apparently had never submitted this Green Peafowl record to iNat. This record remedies that omission, becoming species #499 research-graded.
