Bird was on sidewalk; north side of building; has been squashed (by bike, skateboard, shoe?)...possibly a Wilson's warbler?
This bird appeared to me to be injured and resting. It was lethargic and seemed to move slowly and reluctantly as I approached. Yet as I got nearer it flew away to a branch of a nearby tree, from where I lost sight of it, and may have earlier only been sleeping for all I know. I found it in the same area, about 15 feet away, and at the same time as a dead bird (of a different species, marked as an observation) on the Observatory Drive side of the Microbial Sciences building.
