American Kestrel (Falco sparverius)

Date

Description

Mobbed by Cyanocitta cristata (blue jay), subsequently chased away Corvus brachyrhynchos (american crow), then pursued a pair of Turdus migratorius (american robin). Larger than the blue jay, apparently. Could it be a Merlin (Falco columbarius)?
