Sob story - staked out this well-known, well-marked (see second photo) and well-candled nest hole for 90 minutes (Ranger: "They were there yesterday, when Fish and Game came to try and re-band them."). They indeed were in there, but big surprise, they now hate people. Stayed in the hole - I saw a flash or two of heads but that was it. They won.
