drocean's Identifications

Unknown animal. during observation, I thought it might have had legs like a millipede. Looking at the photos, I'm not sure. It could be a worm or a small snake.
Based on my memory, it was somewhere around 7 cm in length and maybe half a centimeter in diameter. It's body is a rich brown with a dark brown/black head and a strip down the length of it's body. The head is much wider than the body, reminiscent of a bonnet head shark.
It seemed unconcerned as I photographed it on the sidewalk, and then it crawled into the grass.
