Accidental catch by Gemma while fishing for squid. Reported by Bill Grossman. Approximately 5 feet including tail. Reported as smooth and slimy in texture. Released and seen to swim away although weakened. Conditions were sunny skies and light NW winds making for exceptionally calm seas in Vineyard Sound. Depth was less than 70 feet. Water temperature at the location was likely 64-65 F.
