Yellow fungus growing out of dead eucalyptus stump. Doesn't exactly look like sulfur shelf fungus but seems so close expect for obvious "shelf" like folds.
Its a bright yellow collor, a deeper golden shade near the center. The entire size is about a foot (maybe 10 inches). Underneath is a deeper golden orange color. It resembles a flower in its appearance and growth.
Found in the mulch in the rose garden. Masses of writhing larvae. We've had lots of rain. Black head of larva. Wondering if friend or foe of our roses. Took a movie, which is where these photos came from.
White color with some light orange speckled discoloration on the tops. Its hanging upside down on a fallen tree. Rather wide (6 or 7 inches). Underside is a brown woody color (bark brown).
