This last summer I was at our family camp in maine. While driving back to camp from the local gas station in the center of town I stopped the car because there was a large cat in the middle of the street. It turned and looked at me and right away I knew it was a wild animal. It looked like the sized of a very large cat but it walked like it was heavy. It's shoulders dropped with each step like it had alot of muscle, similar to a lion's walk. It's tail was cut off. It's fur was a muddy brownish grey. I remember it had huge goofy paws. Also when it stared at me Its eyes were yellow and thin slits for the pupils. At the tips of each ear long black hair spiked up so tall it drooped forward. I tried to look it up online for similar pictures of bobcats. There were no similar pictures. It had the face of a lynx with ears that had black antenne type hair poking up, but my family said there are no lynx in town and it must have been a bobcat. I am confused.
