A pair of Herring Gulls have taken up residence on a rooftop in the same place as last year. One of them, can't tell if it's the male or the female, stands for hours on end outside the local hardware shop, or perches on a lamppost near the gas station. The pair of them make an awful lot of noise very at around 5 a.m.
