What

Chaparral Yucca (Hesperoyucca whipplei)

Observer

littlesamm

Date

September 10, 2013

Description

This was also found in the alluvial scrub area. In an area full of dormant shrubs it literally stood out among the rest. With its tall trunk and sharp spiked leaves at the bottom center point. If you shook it a bit seeds would fall.
