There were several individuals of Dryopteris affinis (agg.) with prettier, more regular rosettes of large fronds than this one in the moist ditch.
The imaged one might have had the biggest leaves, reaching up to 1.5m, yet this is suspective for being in fact some hybrid with D. filix-mas, thus the ID might not be fully right.
