Description

Under a medium-sized height tree. Has three green seeds with one seems to already gone away? It seems like it hasn’t been detached from its original tree for too long because the leaves are still green.
Interesting I found it on the root of the tree, not among dead leaves.
It is dry and alone, no similar seeds near it.

immature elderberries observed near the north-west end of Strawberry Creek, Berkeley. The shrub was located near the edge of one of the few deeper ends of the creek, overlooking a group of 2-3 Signal Crayfish. Distinct 'spread-out' shape and greenish-white colouration at this stage of growth.
