Adults (2) were found by turning rocks in the creek-bed near Lookout Creek. Rocks were 3-5 meters from the creek itself. They are an orange-yellow color with large black eyes.

Juvenile coloration does not resemble adult coloration and juvenile are have a dark background with mottle gray, speckled pattern. They also have a partially yellow tail starting at the tip which fades to the black background. They also have yellow accents where the legs join the body.
