With Tom Butler, Don Fraser, Christine Rowland, and others; a successful visit to see the Clay-colored Sparrow that Tom found a while ago at one of his feeding stations -- Tom has quite the set -up here. We walked around the bird-feeding trail, and spent the most time at the feeders with the sparrow. The weather at the start was sunny and 46 degrees ("feels like" 45) with a light breeze. Curiously, it did not seem so cold and it quickly warmed up. We left at 1108 and Don and I ate lunch at the Flying J Denny's. Afterward, I visited Perry Oldenburg Wildlife and Environmental Area.
