Growing in mossy field underneath Pinus contorta.
Was yummy. Ate in rice. No maggots inside, texture slightly bouncy. Found in soil, near sedges and maiden’s hair fern. Weather was mild.
Sword ferns nearby and western hemlock
Growing in dirt against the cement so couldn’t get the full stem out

From maple, windfall. Cedar, maple nearby.

Was found on a fallen log in squaring park (not exactly sure what kind)
There are hemlock and big leaf maples as overstock.
It's moist out/a shaded area
