Vocal and numerous along the canal
A small garter snake which was basking along the side of the trail, moved off a bit as I walked by
Seen in two separate pairs, quite active and vocal
While heading to class I saw and observed this squirrel on a tree and then run away quickly. They were searching for food throughout the campus. These squirrels are not captive, but do tend to stay near the campus a lot because many of their resource are easily found there.
These spectacular birds were common in Kruger National Park. This one was along the roadside just north of Olifants Camp.
They typically came in groups of three or four, so if you saw one, there were others nearby.
