Description

Known as the swamp chicken, it is a bird species, that lives in ponds, canals and other wetlands. As an adult it has a red frontal shield, yellow legs, and dark feathers. Their diet consists in vegetables and small creatures that live in water. When threatened, it makes a loud hiss. When I found the species, it was walking around the grass and then it ran to the pond where it swam with another member of its species.
