About 8mm in length. Amazingly found in wild surf by my daughter who came to tell me about it on the shore and then we went back in and found it again among the wild waves. Destiny!
Two apples snails caught mating
Apple snail eggs
Fragments of sand collars -- the egg masses of moon snails.
The deck is almost entirely broken off.
This one is not very white, so it might be quite aged.
Live, in situ, in the empty shell of a Shark Eye moon snail.
44mm in length
A small juvenile shell.
I think this shell is probably of sub-fossil age.
