Found on tree. There were no other lizards spotted nearby. The lizard was about 6 in long with tail. There was a slightly darker spot on the tip of its head. There was also a darker stripe down the side. Id based off of previous iNat observations.

Description

This plant was surrounded by wheats. I think it is old because it is dried up long the stem. And it could be that it is dried up due to the fact that it surrounded by wheat which are dry and don't really rely on water to survive. The plant was red and rough and a little pointy.

Description

Razor-like seeds that are pretty soft are in the center of the plant. They are layered together with a light tan color on them. I could not see any bees or other pollinators near them. The leaves were about six inches long and all grew off the same stem. They also grew in clumps.
