This I think is some kind of wooly bear moth caterpillar. This thing was black all over and very hairy. It was spotted crawling up the wall of my aunt's school old. This was one of the many animals I had the pleasure to document when helping my aunt here take care of the school garden and help with school work. She doesn't teach at this school anymore but I had some pretty fond memories of this place. This moth caterpillar was very neat and even though I have seen them before I finally got a photo for the first time ever for an ID. This caterpillar was pretty long and pretty fat. It's hairs seemed to be in little bunches which flared out.

Second view of the bee used for the flower observation.
Headed down to the Lower Rio Grande Valley for a staff meeting with the other urban wildlife biologists.
Stayed at Oso Blanco for the evening in Zapata -- nice little place. I put up the moth light as well -- I'll have to work on these ID's later on.
