Seen clearly for 10 minutes or more. Large (1m) mammal, dark with white throat, at surface and diving. Traversed approx 50 meters during the time, swimming underwater for surprising distance and at speed then re-appearing. Thought there might be two. Same pond as the house we rented last year where the otter would sun itself on a muskrat lodge. Got good shots of it last spring. Really nothing to mistake it with. Minks are much smaller.
