I saw a couple of these after moving a big mossy rock. Not sure of the species though.
"It was around 6.45pm and I had been in position for barely five minutes. The young badger came through the undergrowth and returned to his sett before emerging again a couple of minutes later. He knew something was not right but still tentatively came towards me, posing for a moment before returning to ground. A great moment."
This little bird looks like it might be a myna or other starling. My best guess right now is it's a grey starling or white-cheeked starling (both Sturnus cineraceus), seems to more or less fit the description.

This little bird looks like it might be a myna or other starling. My best guess right now is it's a grey starling or white-cheeked starling (both Sturnus cineraceus), seems to more or less fit the description.
This egret hunted at an unhurried pace almost impossible to understand for the average first grader.
