Droflet's "Where is My Spider" observation 5/5/2013
It looks like a Cellar Spider. The curious thing is the markings on the body - there are horizontal lines that create the look of scales. However, it does not have wings and does appear to have eight legs so I thought it must be Pholcidae. Wrong!

Allan's spider is a Harvestman - an arachnid but not a spider - it is in the Arachnida, order Opiliones.
Spiders are order Aranaea
