Red Legged Frog nips goldfish

My backyard pond, designed to be 'frog friendly' also has 8 goldfish in residence, some small black water beetles, pond skaters and a few water bugs for which I have no identification - not a clue. I often sit by my pond, coffee in hand and camera at my side just in case something happens. Last week, on a warm sunny day, the goldfish were especially active. Several fish, not all at once mind you, swam close to the frog and seemed to stare at it. Well one fish became bold and swam closer to ... whatever that thing was. Apparently, the Red Legged Frog was not too happy with the intrusion and snapped at that fish ... who instantly swam away from danger. I had been wondering how the RLF and the gold fish would do occupying the same little pond together, so this was an interesting event for me.
