Oct. 11: An Afternoon stroll

Weather: Partly cloudy; very windy
Decided to take a walk around some trails near my campus to see if I could explore the nearby forested area. Unfortunately for me it was all gated off (not very sure why).
What I did find however where these interesting ferns protruding out of the fence. The morphology was pretty interesting to me; they looked almost palm-tree like. I decided to grab a sample to try and ID better later.
