Comments

For some reason, this field does not come up for me in searches. I see the Spanish version "Sexo," but it looks like this is a different field with fewer associated data. I'd really like to contribute data to this pool, but I cannot figure out how.

Posted by treegrow over 8 years ago

I think that's a bug. In theory you should be able to see all fields matching the term you entered by clicking "Search remote" but that doesn't seem to be working. Will investigate.

Posted by kueda over 8 years ago

This is kind of baffling me, but if you type "sex " with a space at the end you should be able to choose that field.

Posted by kueda over 8 years ago

Yup, that works for me, too. Funny thing is that after I use this trick to get the field for one observation, I can get it without adding the space when entering data for subsequent observations.

Posted by treegrow over 8 years ago

@kueda: Any objection to adding a value option of "both" or "mixed" or something similar (mentioned as a reason for not using this field in discussion at Gender2) ?

Posted by tony_wills about 8 years ago

Added "mixed".

Thanks :-)
