I am (currently a stay-at-home) Mama of two little people who lives in the foothills of Northern CA with three generations of family on the land where I was raised. I have a BA in Sociology from UCLA (magna cum laude 2002), a MA in Sociology (CSUS 2006, Thesis: Processes of Environmental Hazards in Human Exemptionalist Societies: A Historical Analysis of Gold Mines in Nevada County, CA) and have completed 40 units toward a MS degree in Regenerative Studies (Cal Poly Pomona 2008--). Currently I am enrolled in the CA Naturalist Certification course (UC Davis and Sierra Streams Institute) and plan to finish out my MS next year.
