I´m a Mexican biologist and I graduated from the Master in Science at INECOL. My thesis was about amphibian bioacoustics, specifically on the description of advertisement calls for eight species of frogs inhabiting the cloud forest in central Veracruz. Bioacoustics is a discipline rarely addressed in Mexico, but very recently is getting much interest due to its multiple applications on systematics, ethology and ecology. I have gained experience in this field of study and now I intend to develop my doctoral dissertation using acoustics but a higher scale: the community level.
