Forester by training, forager by fun. I have a forestry degree from Northern Arizona University. Worked a brief summer stint with the USFS in WV identifying understory species and invasives. Since then, moved to New England where I spend much of my free time foraging for wild foods and herbs. I have just started paying attention to the birds around me and am having fun identifying them with some help!
