I graduated from Denison University with a B.S. in Biology in 2008. My senior research thesis, which led to co-authorship in the Journal of Herpetology, was on the terrestrial habitat preferences of spotted salamanders (A. maculatum). Since then I've been up to some random things:
-volunteered for the Student Conservation Association (SCA) in the Smoky Mountains
-Worked for the Stilly-Snohomish Fisheries Enhancement Task Force, a small non-profit in western WA, through AmeriCorps
-worked as a seasonal Biological Science Technician in Wayne National Forest (Ironton District)
-Worked as a Point Count Technician for a study on source/sink dynamics of neotropical migrant songbirds.

Taxonomic groups that I'm most familiar with are birds, amphibians and reptiles, mammals (who isn't?), and plants.
