As a retired teacher I took up wildlife photography as a hobby. I am a member of the California Native Plant Society and enjoy hiking with botanists, birders and other naturalists to learn more about the world of nature. My husband and I have a website gallery of travel photos we have taken over the years. (www.jimndar.net) Recently I have added a gallery of photos of the flora and fauna at Bohemia Ecological Preserve in Camp Meeker, Northern California where I am currently a docent. I have an extensive database (I-Match by Photools) with detailed information on my personal computer. However, I live in a rural area and my internet connection isn't adequate for on-line photo storage - although I am able to do fairly extensive research to identify flora & fauna and interesting facts.
