I like nature and the small but beautiful aspects of it which make it incredible. I've always enjoyed taking pictures of things in nature. There are many beautiful things in nature yet people are so preoccupied that they fail to see what is really there. When we got the INaturalist project in our freshman Biology class, I was excited because I got the opportunity to observe nature. I got the opportunity to see species of all kinds ranging from tiny arachnids to gigantic but unique trees. Even though I did get many insect bites as I looked for tiny species in the forests, I can wholeheartedly say that it was worth it because I saw things that I would never have been able to see had I not gotten this project.
