I am recently retired from 33 years with the South Coast Air Quality Management District. I have a B.S. in Biology and hope to return to some of my biological interests from the past which included study of native plants, birds and ecology. I love walking and hiking. I walk a lot around my neighborhood in Mar Vista (Los Angeles) and for hiking I am closest to the Santa Monica Mountains but love to make it up to the San Gabriel Mountains or the Sierra Nevada, especially Kings Canyon/Sequoia National Park.
