I'm a bird watcher who is now trying to learn to identify butterflies and dragonflies.

An amateur photographer, I carry my digital camera with me at all times, in a pouch on my belt. I love being able to capture that elusive and transitory moment - the sudden appearance of a rainbow or a dramatic storm or the landing of a wild bird - before that moment vanishes forever.
